ECM Operations and Training Lead

Over the years, I have proven to be a trustworthy, reliable and effective advisor, skilled in navigating complex situations. I like getting things done. As an embedded communications consultant, I thrive on working with teams to provide expertise, support and an extra set of hands. As an external consultant, I like filling in gaps and providing that extra bandwidth you need to move initiatives forward.
So what can I do for you? I can develop, implement and evaluate your organization’s communications strategies. This includes interviewing stakeholders, creating or reviewing key messages, identifying and analyzing issues, and determining target audiences. Once this is complete, I can build, refresh or revise a communications plan that fits your culture, budget and timeline. If you lack the people resources to implement the recommendations, I can do that too.
Change Management & Organizational Development
I have been an embedded consultant on several organizational change management teams. I’ve helped implement SAP, SharePoint and other enterprise content management solutions, delivering results for clients in the oil & gas, utility and transportation sectors. I’ve worked on the people side of change—focusing on organizational restructuring, layoffs, and learning and development.
Whether the focus is people, process or technology, I have successfully worked with leaders, sponsors and teams to develop and execute an integrated approach and plan that includes leadership development, communications, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training and managing people resistant to change.
Much of my work focuses on what success looks like as a result of the change. It’s surprising how often that elephant in the room isn’t addressed—despite the time and resources being poured into a project. I work with leaders and teams to ensure people understand the change, are willing to accept it, and are set up to be successful long after the project team has gone away.
